A man is in custody after Saskatoon police received a complaint someone was checking vehicle doors in the parking lot of a shopping centre.
Police were called out around 8:45 p.m. CT on Monday to Clarence Avenue South and Circle Drive.

A canine officer located the man in question however when the officer approached him, the man ran into a department store.
He was wearing a red basketball jersey and a black hat.
When the same man left the store a few minutes later, police said he was wearing different clothing.
He spotted the officer and fled, dodging traffic and people in the parking lot.
A police dog was used to capture the 33-year-old man, who suffered dog bites to his leg.
The Saskatoon man was found to be unlawfully at large from Correctional Service of Canada. He is facing charges of obstructing a peace officer and possibly mischief charges.
