Police search for man after woman was sexually assaulted downtown Regina

Regina Police are looking to the public for information after a woman was sexually assaulted in a downtown alley.

According to police a man followed a 23-year-old woman into the west alley on the 1800 block of Scarth Street around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday night.

That’s where police say the victim was sexually assaulted but the attacker was scared off shortly after the incident began.

The suspect is described as being black, around 20-years-old, and roughly 5’9″. He had a scruffy beard and was wearing a black ball cap, red shirt, jeans and glasses.
