WINNIPEG — SilverCity Polo Park is about to get a new name.
The popular Winnipeg theatre in St. James will become “Scotiabank Theatre Winnipeg” as part of a rebranding strategy by Cineplex.

The signage at Polo Park is expected to change by mid-summer. Movie listings will also be updated to reflect the change.
The rebranding is also taking place in Ottawa.
Cineplex currently has Scotiabank Theatres in Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Saskatoon, Toronto, Montreal, Halifax and St. John’s.
