Officials are citing confidentiality laws in not providing specific details as to why the raid took place.
Youth-protection officials intervene when a formal complaint is made and when youth laws are not followed.
This can involve cases where children are not attending provincially approved schools that follow Quebec’s curriculum.
The school is located in a neighbourhood with a large Hasidic community.
