A man has been arrested in Plano, Texas for allegedly stabbing his girlfriend to death in her apartment. He is alleged to have also posted a photo of the scene to the victim’s Facebook page with claims of needing help, according to multiple reports.

Police were called Sunday morning to Jennifer Streit-Spears’ apartment after receiving a call from the woman’s sister about a possible disturbance, police spokesman David Tilley told the Dallas Morning News.

Upon arrival, they found Spears’ body and a wounded Kenneth Amyx.

He was taken to hospital and treated for  “superficial wounds believed to be self-inflicted,” Tilley told ABC affiliate WFAA.

Amyx, is alleged to have posted photos on Spears’ Facebook page, captioned with “please pray for us,” which showed Amyx covered in blood next to a woman’s dead body, according to ABC affiliate WFAA.

Kenneth Amyx, 45, has been charged with murder. Upon his arrest, it was also discovered he was wanted for indecency with a child in Dallas County, and sex abuse of a child under 14 in Rockwall County.
