Residents in a neighbourhood west of Toronto are being told to be on the lookout for an apparent baby alligator on the loose.
Peel Regional Police say they received multiple reports on Thursday of the reptile spotted in the area of The Gore Road and Cottrelle Boulevard in Brampton.
There’s no word yet on how the animal got loose or if it has an owner.

Officers searched the area on Thursday as well as a nearby creek but were unsuccessful in locating the gator.
