Jasper Place High School students back in class after alleged bomb threat

Students and staff at Jasper Place High School were allowed back in class Wednesday afternoon after being forced out earlier by an alleged bomb threat.

Approximately 2,400 students were moved to St. Francis Xavier High School, a few blocks up the street, as police investigated.

Police said the apparent threat was made by telephone message at Jasper Place High School shortly before 10 a.m. Students were back in class at around 12:20 p.m.

All students and staff members were safe.

Police have not yet identified a suspect.
