The first call came in around 1:30 a.m. to 12808 121st St., where one-half of the duplex had been under construction. When the blaze spread to neighbouring homes, a second alarm was sounded. It took firefighters more than two hours to get the fire under control.

There were no injuries reported. The cause and an estimate of damage are not yet available.
