Disappearance of Okanagan woman may be homicide

VERNON – RCMP suspect foul play in the disappearance of a north Okanagan woman.

Ashley Marie Simpson, 27, was reported missing on April 30th a few days after she was apparently last seen.

The RCMP Southeast District Major Crime Unit is now assisting Vernon Mounties in the investigation which is described as very active.

The serious crimes cops recently searched a property on Yankee Flats Road in Salmon Arm as they continue looking for Simpson.

She is about 5’5″ tall and 119 pounds with brown eyes and hair.
