Matt Dominguez and Ivan Gutfriend inducted into Riders Plaza of Honor

REGINA – The Saskatchewan Roughrider Plaza of Honor Committee has announced that Matt Dominguez and Ivan Gutfriend will be the latest members of the team inducted into the Plaza.

Dominguez played six seasons with the Riders racking up 250 catches for 3,741 yards and 19 touchdowns. Dominguez won the Grey Cup with the Riders in 2007 and in the 2006 season was selected a west division All-Star.

Gutfriend spent 38 seasons with the Roughriders as the teams Athletic Therapist. Gutfriend was on the sidelines for 668 regular season games, 27 playoff games and six Grey Cups. Gutfriend was a member of the 1989, 2007 and 2013 Grey Cup Champion teams.

The Plaza of Honor dinner takes place on September 16th at the Credit Union Eventplex. To date, these dinners have raised over $6 million for the Roughridres football team.
