HAMILTON – A 29-year-old Hamilton man is in police custody after allegedly brandishing a sword outside a local convenience store.
Hamilton police say they received a call about the man early Saturday morning from someone reporting that he was waving a sword outside a 7-Eleven and threatening to harm someone.
Police say they found the man outside the store and were able to seize a large, samurai-style sword from him.
He was arrested without incident and no one was injured.
Andrew Ribson is charged with possession of a dangerous weapon and has been held without bail.
