EDMONTON – Edmonton police have released a surveillance picture of a woman who may have witnessed a murder near the downtown arena in February.
At around 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, Feb. 21, 41-year-old Darren Douglas Sinner was shot and killed at the intersection of 104 Avenue and 101 Street, across from the Baccarat Casino.
Investigators believe the violence may have erupted following a verbal exchange between Sinner and one or more suspects.

The woman was captured on surveillance video in the area of 101 Street and 105 Avenue just moments before Sinner was shot, police said.
The video shows her wearing white boots and red mitts or hand warmers. She was also wearing a dark-coloured, three-quarter length coat with fur around the hood.
