A snowfall warning for areas west of Calgary originally issued on Wednesday was lifted on Thursday
Environment Canada issued the snowfall warning for Banff National Park, Kananaskis and Canmore at around 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday, saying precipitation would begin as rain in the evening, changing to snow overnight.

As of 3:30 p.m. Thursday that warning ended.
In their statement Environment Canada said that 10 to 15 centimetres of snow has already fallen at Sunshine Village and in Peter Lougheed Provincial Park.
