CHÂTEAUGUAY – Five warehouse employees are in hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation after an overnight fire in Châteauguay.
Just before 1 a.m., flames broke out in a plastic bag factory on Ford Boulevard.
The Châteauguay fire department told Global News large pallets of plastic bags that were awaiting shipment caught fire.
About 40 firefighters responded to the call.
Investigators are trying to figure out how the fire started.
