Saskatoon police investigating hit-and-run involving stolen truck

SASKATOON – Police are investigating a hit-and-run collision involving a stolen truck that occurred Saturday in Saskatoon. At around 5:40 a.m. CT, officers were called to the crash in the 2500-block of Taylor Street East.

Investigators say a 2015 Dodge Ram 5500 truck was travelling eastbound on Taylor Street when it struck a parked Ford F150 truck.

The driver of the stolen truck fled on foot. A police dog unit attempted to track him down but was unsuccessful.

Police are reviewing video footage captured by a witness.

The Dodge Ram truck was stolen from the Clavet area.
