EDMONTON — Four Edmonton restaurants have been named among the top eateries in Canada to grab brunch.
Online restaurant reservation site OpenTable released its 2016 list of the 75 best brunch restaurants in Canada.
The list was released Monday with Mother’s Day in mind.
“Celebrating mothers all year-round is important, but a special meal with mom on Mother’s Day is a tradition for many families,” OpenTable spokesperson Ziv Schierau said in a news release.
The following four Edmonton restaurants made the cut this year:
- Canteen
- Harvest Room – Fairmont Hotel MacDonald
- Sawmill – Edmonton Capilano
- Tom Goodchild’s Moose Factory

In total, 18 Alberta restaurants made the list, including 11 in Calgary, two in Banff and one in Okotoks.

OpenTable compiled its list based on more than 275,000 verified diner reviews of more than 1,700 restaurants across Canada.
