Cole Harbour family’s dog, Homer, stolen from home, RCMP investigating

A Cole Harbour family is looking to have their dog, Homer, returned after he was stolen from their home on Tuesday.

RCMP were called to a home on Wexford Road at about 4 p.m. Tuesday after a break and enter.

The homeowner, Megan Hadley, said her 3-year-old Boston Terrier Homer was stolen and nothing else.

In a post on her Facebook page, Hadley asks for the public’s help “bring our Homer home.”

Hadley goes on to say Homer, a part of their family, is a hyper and happy dog.

“You could have taken anything from our house but why our dog,” Hadley wrote.

Homer is a 20 pound male Boston Terrier with black and white markings. He was wearing a dark collar with bones on it that may have a vaccination tag on it when he was taken.

RCMP ask that anyone with information about Homer to call them at 902-490-5020 or contact www.crimestoppers.ns.ca.
