Mississauga man charged after filming woman undressing in mall changing room: police

A 36-year-old Mississauga man has been charged with voyeurism after police say he was caught taking video of a woman in a mall clothing store changing room.

York Regional police responded to a call for a voyeurism investigation at a clothing store at the Vaughan Mills mall on Sunday.

Security guards had detained a man who allegedly put a cellphone under a changing room door and took video of a woman while she undressed.

The man was also allegedly carrying a blue paper shopping bag that contained an empty shoebox.

Brandon Chan faces one charge of voyeurism and is scheduled to appear in a Newmarket court on May 12.
