Police say the crime spree began around 1 a.m. when a Beer Store was targeted near Jane Street and Major Mackenzie Drive in Vaughan.

It is believed several cases of beer were stolen from the location before the suspects made their way to the Vaughan Mills Village strip mall.

Police say the thieves broke into an electronics store and stole five flat screen televisions. A case of beer was also found left behind, apparently by the suspects.

In addition to the beer, officers also found a vehicle stolen from Jane Street and Steeles Avenue in Toronto. They say that vehicle was ditched nearby, with the suspects taking another vehicle — a Dodge Caravan — to flee the scene.

The minivan was later found abandoned in the Hamilton area.

The suspects are described as two white males. Police describe one as 6 foot 1 inches, 220 lbs wearing a black bandanna, black-and-green plaid jacket, blue jeans, orange gloves and black running shoes.
