Bellingham International Airport was closed Saturday morning due to a suspicious device that proved to be a marijuana grinder.
The Port of Bellingham alerted the public that a suspicious item was found at the airport in Washington state and that every precaution was being taken to secure the area.
They later said the item was in fact a “grenade look-alike” marijuana grinder.
The airport has since re-opened. Passengers were told to check with their airline about possible flight delays.
