WINNIPEG — The Winnipeg Regional Health Authority has apologized to the family of a Winnipeg woman who died last fall while laying in pain on a hospital floor.

Mohinder Singh, 57, went to Seven Oaks General Hospital last fall with a severe headache but was told she would have to wait for a CT scan.

That’s when Singh laid down on the floor because she couldn’t sit anymore.

After being transferred to the Health Sceinces Centre a test showed she died of a brain aneurysm.

The WRHA says they’re changing critical incident reporting times and will have reviews done in the next 88 days.
