A petition has been launched to urge the City of Brampton to name a park after the Neville-Lake family after three children and their grandfather were killed by a drunk driver.

More than 2,500 people have lent their support behind the cause that would also include a small memorial with a bench and a plaque.

“Not only is it important to remember these precious children and their grandfather but it is also vital that we never forget the tragic consequences of drinking and driving,” the petition said.

Officials in Mississauga, Ont. recently approved a motion to tweak the name of a park named after Muzzo’s grandfather.
