Teens face slew of charges after Millwood High’s Tuesday lockdown

Two teenagers are facing a slew of charges after a Millwood high school was placed in lockdown on Tuesday afternoon.

Two young people, aged 15 and 17, are scheduled to appear in court Wednesday to answer to the following offences:

  • Unsafe storage of a firearm.
  • 4 counts of possession of weapons for a dangerous purpose.
  • 4 counts of carrying concealed weapons.
  • 2 counts of unauthorized possession of a firearm.
  • 2 counts of unlawful possession of a firearm in a motor vehicle.
  • 2 counts of possession of firearm for the purpose of trafficking.
  • Theft under $5000.
  • Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
  • 2 counts of possession of a weapon obtained by crime.

Police have also charged an 18-year-old man with uttering threats. He was arrested on Tuesday evening.
