Canadian music fans meet favourite artists at JUNO Fan Fare

CALGARY- It’s an up close and personal meeting with some of Canada’s biggest musicians.

JUNO Fan Fare took over Chinook Mall in Calgary Saturday, as fans had the opportunity to meet their favourite artists.

There was a long list of big names in attendance, like Shawn Hook, Alessia Cara, Brett Kissel, Walk Off The Earth and Francesco Yates.

The event featured interviews, live performances and autograph sessions that ran all day from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m.

Calgary has been busy all week with big events leading up to the Juno Awards at the Scotiabank Saddledome Sunday night.

A heavy slate of relative newcomers, including the Weeknd, Shawn Mendes and Alessia Cara, are set to take the stage in Calgary for Sunday’s telecast, which will honour rising musicians and chart-toppers alike.
