The Model 3 is expected to retail for about $35,000 US. It’s the company’s first mass-market electric vehicle.
Not much is known about the specifics of the car, aside from the fact that it will be the company’s most affordable model. It is expected to be a four-door sedan and have a range of about 480 kilometers.
CEO and product architect Elon Musk dropped a hint on what is about to be unveiled on Twitter.
Those in the line-up today will have to wait awhile before getting their hands on the wheel of the new car.
It’s believed the production will begin by late next year.
