Toronto police are seeking the public’s help identifying a male suspect allegedly responsible for 10 bank robberies in the city over the span of three months.
Police say the robberies took place between Jan. 12 to March 19, 2016 with the majority of them happening in the area of St. Clair Avenue and Bathurst Street.
It is alleged the male on each occasion would enter the bank as a customer, approach the teller, hand over a handwritten note indicating he is armed and demand cash.
No injuries were reported in any of the robberies.
Police say the suspect fled on foot in each incident but believe he may have been using a getaway vehicle or a taxi to move around.
Investigators say he robbed three banks in a row on Jan. 27 and four banks in a row on Feb. 13.
The suspect is described as light-skinned male, possibly of mixed race, in his mid-20s, 5’7″ to 5’9″ tall and with a slim build.
