WINNIPEG – The Manitoba Moose roster is returning to normal after forwards Scott Kosmachuk and Chase De Leo were returned to the team by the Winnipeg Jets. Their services were no longer required with the Jets after Nikolaj Ehlers and Joel Armia returned from injury.
“It was a good experience, a good learning curve.” Kosmachuk said. “Tried to take a lot of positives out of there and just stick to my game and bring the positives down here.”
Kosmachuk, 22, had three assists in eight games since he was called up and he’ll look to take what he learned with the Jets back with him to the Moose.
“Just knowing the coach has confidence in me and the organization to bring me into that situation.” said Kosmachuk. “I’m going to take what I learned from up there and apply it to down here.”

De Leo, 20. appeared in two games with the Jets. He failed to record a point and was a plus-1.

With Brenden Kichton getting recalled by the Jets, the Moose signed defenceman Sean Escobedo.
Escobedo, 25, is with his third AHL team this season after also suiting up with the Harford Wolf Pack and the Charlotte Checkers.
“He’s had a couple stints in the American League already this year.” Moose head coach Keith McCambridge said. “A Solid, safe, puck moving defenceman. So He’ll get his opportunity here because of Kichton.”
He’s played most of the season in the East Coast Hockey League. He has one goal and 21 assists in 62 games with the Greenville Swamp Rabbits.

The Moose continue their four game homestand on Saturday night against Charlotte.
