WINNIPEG — Just days after the remains of 16-year-old daughter, Delaine Copenace was found, her mother has taken to social media to express her sadness.
On Wednesday, Anida Ross said her heart is “shattered” after seeing her daughter lifeless.

“I will most definitely miss her, her smile, her cute giggle, her beautiful face, her beautiful gentle soul, her gentleness, her silliness, her quirky & quick witted ways, and most definitely her love,” she said in a Facebook post.
The teen went missing on Feb. 27 after she was last seen in downtown Kenora.
On Tuesday her remains were found in Lake of the Woods, by the Ontario Provincial Police.
