Manitoba First Nation declares state of emergency over suicides

Aboriginal Affairs Minister Eric Robinson says he has spoken with his federal counterpart, Carolyn Bennett, and the two levels of government are doing what they can to assist the community.

He says the province is waiting for specific requests from Cross Lake and will assist in any way it can.
