TORONTO – Police are seeking public help in identifying a suspect after a brazen daytime assault and robbery in downtown Toronto last month.

Police say a cyclist approached a woman in the area of Croft and Harbord streets at approximately 3 p.m. on Sunday Feb. 21.

According to police, the suspect punched the woman in the head, then took her bag and wallet.

The man is described as white, 35-45 years old, approximately 6’0″, with dark hair and a beard. He was wearing a tan cap, blue-and-white bandana, black jacket, black pants, black boots, and riding a mountain bike.
