WINNIPEG — Police are searching for a man who allegedly walked into a bank claiming he had a bomb and demanding money.

Officers responded to the bank in the 1800 block of Main Street for reports of a robbery at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.

Initial investigations revealed a man walked in and spoke with a female teller claiming he had a bomb and demanded money. He was given an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene.

The suspect is described as being between 35 and 40 years old, 5’10” to 5’11” with a medium build, dark hair and facial hair with a moustache.
