TORONTO — Police are warning the public after a man stepped outside for a cigarette and ended up having his home ransacked at gunpoint in north-end Toronto.
Toronto police said in a release that three men brandishing handguns approached a 47-year-old man on his front porch while he was having a cigarette on Thursday.

The men then allegedly accosted the man and his 33-year-old wife who was inside their home, before holding them at gunpoint and robbing the home of any valuables they could find.
Police arrested two 19-year-old men and a 16-year-old boy on Friday.
Farah Handule, Micheal Mensah and the teenager, who cannot be identified under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, were each charged with robbery with a firearm and possession of property obtained by crime. They appeared in a Toronto court on Saturday.
