Suspect falls out of vehicle, captured by police after break-and-enter

One person is under arrest after a suspect managed to fall out of a moving vehicle during a break-and-enter attempt at an west-end Toronto restaurant early Monday morning.

The incident happened around 1 a.m. at a California Sandwiches location near The Queensway and The East Mall in Etobicoke.

Officers arrived on scene and located a fleeing vehicle when one suspect fell out of the back.

Police were able to make an arrest but are still searching for the second suspect.

There’s no word yet if anything was stolen from the restaurant and the investigation is ongoing.
