MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – A man wanted for murder after a fatal Mississauga stabbing Saturday has turned himself into police.

Peel Regional Police say Mohamed Nasr, 19, of Mississauga, was taken into police custody on Sunday afternoon after an announcement he was wanted for murder.

Police were called to a home on Harrowsmith Drive just after 2 p.m. Saturday and found Hamza Lamadani, 19, unconscious and suffering from stab wounds. He was rushed to a local hospital, but died of his injuries.

Police say an altercation had take place earlier on Webb Drive in Mississauga.

Nasr is scheduled to appear in a Brampton court Monday.

Investigators are also seeking any witnesses who were in the area of Webb Drive at the time of the stabbing.
