CALGARY – Police are searching for suspects following a break-in at a restaurant in the city’s northeast.
It happened just before 3 a.m. Sunday at the Vietnamese Village strip mall in the 3600 Block of Westwinds Drive northeast.
Officials said the thieves managed to get away with the ATM machine but it’s not clear how much cash was inside.
Police have not yet revealed whether a vehicle was involved in the heist but officers are still investigating.
A month ago, thieves smashed through the front glass of Casino Calgary with a crowbar and made off with one of the casino’s ATM.
