A 19-year-old man has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of a woman in the Fraser Valley last month, according to the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team.

On February 24, police found the 51-year-old victim deceased in a home in the 42000-block of Yarrow Central Road.
Clayton Jacob Warkentin was arrested Friday night and will appear in court Monday.
In a statement, IHIT said the suspect and victim were known to each other and the “incidents leading up to this homicide appear to be domestic-related.”
