British Columbia is known for many things – but politically, it’s our scandals that seem to get the most national attention.

“Only in British Columbia do you get stuff like this happening. It’s mind-boggling, really,” said John Daly this week, recounting the infamous RCMP raid on former premier Glen Clark’s house.

From three premiers resigning in one decade, to some of the most colourful characters in the country, when it comes to political controversies, British Columbia punches above its weight.
