Country singer Joey Feek died Friday after a battle with cervical cancer, leaving behind her husband Rory and their young daughter Indiana.
Upon the news of her passing there has been a swell of support for the Feek family and messages of remembrance of Joey. From fans to those in the music industry, it’s clear Joey, 40, touched the lives of many.
Joey spent the last few months of her life in hospice care at the family’s home as her health declined. Her journey through her illness has been well documented thorough the couple’s blog and social media accounts.

“My wife’s greatest dream came true today,” Rory wrote in the blog post announcing Joey’s passing. “She is in Heaven.”
