A major drug operation, located across the street from a busy park that is regularly visited by children, was busted by Saanich Police on Thursday.
Two months ago, Saanich Police Property Crime and Drug Investigators began a joint investigation into a residence in the 800-block of Marigold Rd.

On March 3, police executed a search warrant at the home, and arrested a 41-year-old man and a 38-year-old woman.
A significant amount of drugs has been recovered from the home, including crack cocaine, heroin and crystal methamphetamine.
Body armour, stolen property and a large cache of weapons, including swords, knives, bear spray, conducted energy weapons, replica firearms and a rifle were also seized.
Police are recommending over 30 various charges at this time.
Investigators say the 41-year-old suspect is well known to them and is a “life-long criminal.”
