CHILLIWACK, B.C. – A group of B.C. teens and young adults who dressed as super heroes to target Internet predators has seen their efforts pay off after charges were laid against three men.
Members of the group used the Internet to portray themselves as a 15-year-old girl having conversations with adult men.

They would lure the men to public places where someone in a super hero costume would berate the suspects for trying to pick up teenaged girls online for sex.
Chilliwack RCMP became aware of the super hero stings last November and took over the investigation after warning the young vigilantes their actions put themselves at risk and jeopardized possible convictions.
Police now say three Fraser Valley men have been charged with child luring and will appear for separate court dates over the next six weeks.
Those charged are 24-year-old Andrew Westerberg of Abbotsford and two Chilliwack men, 36-year-old Kevin Gill and 48-year-old Todd Paice.
