PERTH-ANDOVER, N.B. – The emergency department at a northwestern New Brunswick hospital will reopen on June 18th for the first time since suffering major flood damage more than two months ago.
The lower level of the Perth-Andover hospital was flooded in March after ice jams caused the St. John River to spill its banks.

Aside from the emergency room, a number of services including radiology will also resume.
As well, 20 hospital beds will open, with some patients being transferred from Grand Falls General Hospital on the 18th and some from Upper River Valley Hospital the following day.
