MILLVILLE, N.S. – Police in Cape Breton say a man faces several charges, including attempted murder, after a domestic dispute that left two people with knife wounds earlier this week.
Police were called to a home in Millville on Wednesday after receiving a report that two people had been stabbed.

They say the home had also been set on fire.
A man and woman were taken to hospital.
Police say the woman remains in critical condition, while the man is listed in serious condition.
Investigators have charged 65-year-old Rene Gagne with attempted murder, aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and arson.
