Police investigate if teen caused Stoney Trail crash

Police are investigating whether a terrible crash in northwest Calgary was deliberately caused.

It happened on Stoney Trail and 96th Avenue northwest around 9:30 p.m. on Thursday night.

The car, carrying four teens, lost control just before Country Hills and rolled.

Two men in the back of the vehicle and the woman driving were thrown from the car.

The men are both in critical condition, while the woman has been upgraded to stable condition.

The front passenger, a teenage girl, is now in police custody.

Police are trying to determine if she somehow caused the crash by grabbing the steering wheel.
