Zurich police said in a statement that the men entered the jeweler’s shop on Saturday lunchtime and threatened the two staff members who were present with a handgun, taking jewelry, precious stones and cash and then fleeing on foot.

Police appealed for witnesses. They said two of the men spoke broken German but had no description for the third suspect.
