It started when the owners of District Stop nightclub wanted to put some art in their men’s washroom. They decided to use the U.S. presidential candidate as inspiration.

The wall is a mural of Donald Trump that is strategically placed so the urinal is in the same spot as his mouth.

“The club has quite a bit of street art decorating our walls and we decided we wanted to add something that was a little edgy and would incite discussion,” said co-owner of District Stop Nightclub, Casey Lourens.

“With Donald Trump being in the forefront of media these days we decided that this was the way to go.”

The artwork, which was done by a local artist named Nereo, hasn’t brought on any negative reaction yet, as most people find it amusing, said Lorens.

“Our goal was to create conversations, and in that I feel we have been successful,” he said.

There are also outlandish Trump quotes surrounding the piece – just in case visitors wanted to take in some politics while reliving themselves in the “murinal.”
