Sask Jazz Festival revises child ticket prices for 2016 events

SASKATOON – The Saskatchewan Jazz Festival has announced changes to its ticket pricing for children. During last year’s festival, many parents were disheartened to learn of a policy change, requiring full-price tickets for children three years and older at the Bessborough Gardens main stage.

In 2014, children under 13 were admitted without charge.

The latest ticket policy change allows children seven and under to attend shows for free with a maximum of two kids per adult.

Youth aged eight to 12 are eligible for half-price tickets to the main stage.

Proof of age will be required at the gate and the youth discount is only available for main stage shows. Youth pricing cannot be discounted with any other promotions.

The jazz festival runs from June 24 to July 3.
