Fire fighters from Moncton and Riverview fire departments brought the fire under control a while later, but the building is now a total loss.

“It’s just tools at the end of the day, but it’s just a big hula hoop to jump through.” Black said.

Black says his business was not insured, and estimates the fire will cost him about $50,000 in damages.

One person was inside the building and managed to escape to call 9-1-1.
