In a scene straight from a Hollywood script, police in West Palm Beach, Florida have arrested a 19-year-old for pretending to be a fully-licensed doctor who performed medical exams and dispensed medical advice.

Last week, the Palm Beach Narcotics Task Force teamed up with the Florida Department of Health to investigate a complaint of an individual “practicing medicine without a license”, according to a release from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.

The investigation revealed that the teen had opened a medical office in West Palm Beach, police said.

After a joint undercover operation, the police said the 19-year-old “performed a physical exam on an undercover agent and offered medical advice.”

Malachi Love-Robinson has been arrested and charged with practicing medicine without a license. He has also been served a cease-and-desist order.

This is not the first time Love-Robinson has been investigated by the Florida Department of Health; he was investigated and cited for practicing medicine without a license in October 2015.

The teen also has a page on Healthgrades.com in which he claims to be 25 years old with his specialties being naturopathy, psychology and mental health.

A quote from the young “doctor” reads, “I am a well rounded proffessional (sic) that treats, and cares for patients, using a system of practice that bases treatment of physiological functions and abnormal conditions on natural laws governing the human body.”
