With council’s endorsement, the group is expected to come to Penticton during the first week of March to meet with the Downtown Penticton Association (DPA) and city staff.

Kerri Milton, the executive director of the DPA, says the association has already hand-delivered notices to the residents and businesses in the area.

Milton says the greatest concern is access to driveways, adding there will be a traffic lane, and access for pedestrians and cyclists.

The cost starts at $10 and goes up to $60.
