Trudeau, his wife and their kids visited the Ice Palace and met with the Bonhomme Carnaval, the festival’s iconic mascot.
It isn’t known whether the family will be attending the second Night Parade tonight in the city’s Haute-Ville.
The 62nd Carnival will end Sunday when Bonhomme is expected to return the keys of the city back to Mayor Regis Labeaume.
